Meet City FC’s President

Chidi Emmanuel Okonkwo

Born on February 17, 1980, the dynamic Owner and Chairman/CEO of City FC Abuja boasts an impressive career in football management spanning over two decades. Married and deeply committed to the game, he has held leadership roles across Africa, including Chairman/CEO of Horebian Football Club, Ghana (2003–2006), Sports Director at Berekum Chelsea, Ghana (2006–2014), and Executive Chairman of Black Swallows, Swaziland (2014–2017). His strategic expertise also shaped Delta Force Football Club, Asaba (2016–2018), and Vemard Africa Football Club (2017–2018), before leading Delta Football Club, Asaba, as Executive Chairman (2018–2021). A respected member of the Nigeria National League Club Owners and Managers Association, his vision continues to elevate football to new heights.
